PCOS Treatments

What is PCOS?
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects about 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, yet it's rarely discussed in schools or openly talked about. PCOS can cause irregular periods, acne, weight gain—and excessive hair growth (hirsutism) that can feel isolating and frustrating.
Here's the truth: hormone-related hair growth doesn't go away on its own. Shaving, waxing, and even laser only provide temporary relief. But electrolysis offers a permanent solution.
Understanding PCOS and Unwanted Hair Growth
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects about 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, yet it's rarely discussed in schools or openly talked about. PCOS can cause irregular periods, acne, weight gain—and excessive hair growth (hirsutism) that can feel isolating and frustrating.
Here's the truth: hormone-related hair growth doesn't go away on its own. Shaving, waxing, tweezing, and threading, even laser, only provide temporary relief. But electrolysis offers a permanent solution. All of these treatments create blood flow that creates hair growth.
